Dr. Heather Nance

I was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science at Texas A&M University with a minor in Business Administration.

Before entering veterinary school, I worked as a veterinary technician in both general practices and in an emergency clinic in Dallas, Texas. Through these experiences, I realized that I had an interest in emergency medicine and surgery. I graduated from Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine and I’m excited to join the Riverview Animal Hospital team. When I’m not at work, I enjoy hiking and traveling.
